Art Exhibition

26-Sep-2011 Just to give you a run down of the ART EXHIBITION to be held on the 14th October 2011 from 5:30pm - 8pm.
 

5.30pm - 6.30pm         :       PARENTS AND CHILDREN SEE ART EXHIBITS IN COURTYARD AWNING AREA. PARENTS AND CHILDREN EAT FROM PICNIC BASKET BROUGHT FROM HOME OR PURCHASE LIGHT SNACKS FROM THE TUCK SHOP.
 
6.30pm                      :        CHILDREN GO DOWN TO THE AFTER-CARE AREA WITH SOME OF THE TEACHING STAFF AND ARE TREATED TO A -
* PUPPET SHOW
* SOME DANCING ACTIVITIES
* TUCKSHOP - Popcorn R5-00, Juice Boxes R5-00, Sweets R5-00
 
6.35pm - 7.35pm  ART EXHIBITION OFFICIALLY OPENED
 

CASH BAR OPENED AND TUCK SHOP REMAINS OPEN. ADULTS ONLY ALLOWED IN THE COURTYARD AREA WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BABIES IN PRAMS
 
7.30pm                        :       DRAW FOR THE HAMPER RAFFLES
 
7.35pm - 8.00pm          :       HOME TIME
 
 
HAMPER RAFFLES FOR THE ART EXHIBITION FUNCTION:
 
These hampers will be drawn on Friday 14 October at the function at about 7.30pm. Please give these items to your Class Mom on or before 30 September, so that the hampers can be made up before the function.
 
Parents from the Jelly Tots and Jelly Beans group are asked to bring any item that would be fitting for a chocolate and coffee hamper, eg. slabs of chocolate, special chocolates, cappuccino sachets, special ground coffees, after dinner chocolate mints, drinking chocolate, milo, biscuits etc.
 
Parents from the Green and Orange Groups are asked to bring any item that would be fitting for a Pamper Hamper eg. shampoo, shower gel, hand and body creams, foam baths, soaps etc.
 
Parents from the Purple and Blue Groups are asked to bring any item that would be fitting for a childrens holiday activity hamper eg. games, balls, bats, craft items, paper, crayons, books etc.
 
Parents from Grade R are asked to bring anything that would fit into a Rugby and Braai hamper eg. sports equipment, jerseys, hats, caps, nuts, chips, wine, soft drinks etc.
 
Please could you hand in these items asap.
 
Please note that even though the starting time is 5.30pm, it is flexible as it is a Friday and people are still coming home from work. As long as the kids are downstairs at 6.30pm you are welcome to arrive at 6pm and still view your childs artwork.
